At Harmeet Overseas, we strive to provide the best visa consultancy and immigration services to our clients. Our refund policy is designed to be fair and transparent, ensuring compliance with Indian consumer protection laws and international best practices.
By availing of our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions of our refund policy.
1. General Refund Policy
Harmeet Overseas offers consultancy services, including but not limited to:
✔ Study Visa Consultation
✔ Work Visa Assistance
✔ Immigration & PR Services
✔ Tourist/Visitor Visa Assistance
✔ Document Verification & Legalization
As a service-based business, we do not offer refunds on successfully delivered services. However, in specific cases where services are not provided as promised, refunds may be considered as per the eligibility criteria mentioned below.
2. Refund Eligibility
A refund request will only be considered under the following circumstances:
✅ Service Non-Delivery – If Harmeet Overseas fails to provide the agreed-upon service within the specified timeframe due to reasons solely attributable to us.
✅ Duplicate Payment – If a customer has been charged twice for the same service, they may request a full refund of the duplicate amount.
✅ Failure to Process Application – If the visa or immigration application process has not been initiated due to negligence on our part.
✅ Change of Service – If a customer has opted for a service that is no longer available and does not wish to avail an alternative service.
Non-Refundable Circumstances
Harmeet Overseas does not provide refunds in the following cases:
❌ If a visa application is rejected due to incorrect, false, or incomplete documentation provided by the applicant.
❌ If the applicant fails to provide necessary supporting documents within the stipulated time.
❌ If the delay or rejection occurs due to external factors, including but not limited to:
- Visa rules & policy changes by the foreign government
- Delays in embassy or consulate processing
- Personal reasons such as health issues, financial problems, or change of plans
❌ If the service has been partially or fully rendered.
❌ If the applicant decides to withdraw from the service voluntarily.
3. Refund Request Process
If you meet the eligibility criteria, you may request a refund by following these steps:
Step 1: Submit a Refund Request
- Email us at info@harmeetoverseas.com with the subject line: “Refund Request – [Your Name]”
- Mention your Service Invoice Number and Payment Details
- Clearly state the reason for requesting a refund, with supporting evidence if applicable.
Step 2: Review & Processing
- Our team will review your request within 7 working days.
- If additional information is required, we will contact you.
Step 3: Approval or Rejection
- If approved, the refund will be processed within 10-15 working days.
- If rejected, we will provide a detailed explanation.
4. Refund Amount & Mode of Payment
- Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction.
- If the payment was made via credit/debit card, the refund will be credited back to the same card.
- If the payment was made through bank transfer or UPI, the refund will be processed via bank transfer.
- Processing fees, government charges, and third-party fees (such as application fees, embassy fees, and courier charges) are non-refundable.
5. Chargeback & Dispute Resolution
- If you initiate a chargeback through your bank, we reserve the right to challenge the dispute.
- Clients are encouraged to contact us for resolution before initiating any chargeback claims.
- Disputes will be resolved as per Indian Consumer Protection Laws.
6. Cancellation Policy
- If a client wishes to cancel a service before it is initiated, a partial refund may be considered after deducting administrative and processing fees.
- Once the service has started, no cancellation requests will be entertained.
7. Legal Compliance & Governing Law
This policy complies with the following Indian laws:

📌 Indian Contract Act, 1872
📌 Information Technology Act, 2000
Any disputes arising under this policy will be governed by the laws of India, and the courts in Patiala, Punjab shall have jurisdiction.
